I can only show you, teach you, what I know. I care deeply about my pots and have a specific aesthetic. If you want to play with clay and make something there are other places in Vienna that might be better, for example the Potteria.

With that said, if you like what I like: I can help you do what I do.

What clay is what types of clay there are why I use this or that clay. What glazes are how I make glazes why I use certain glazes. How to make with clay that is the different construction methods. Firing clay how to load and use different sorts of kilns.

As a general guide, here are the different options I’ve found the best. Everything mentioned is one-on-one learning. Let me know what you’re looking for: I’m flexible.

Half-day i.e. 4 hours minimum.
You get an overview of pottery and how I work, and then we dive right into what you want to make. Good for beginners. Includes glazing and firing at least one piece.150€

Full day i.e. 8 hours minimum.
You get an overview of how I work, and I’ll show you through the aspects that interest you most. Good for both beginners or those with some knowledge of clay. Includes glazing and firing at least one piece. 250€

Two days i.e. 16 hours.
You get everything and then some, a hands-on trip into all my whole process. Includes glazing and firing at least one piece. 400€.

Includes: all workshop materials, coffee & tea.
My studio has a full kitchen so feel free to bring any food or snacks; good restaurants and cafes are within walking distance.
